The act in which a person is arrested for committing a crime without a prior order from a judge. In El Salvador, this legal term is found in article 323 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and establishes that the perpetrator must be apprehended while committing a crime, attempting to commit a crime, or immediately after having committed a crime.
